By purchasing a ticket to and/or attending this speed dating event, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Event Overview

This event is a social speed dating experience designed to facilitate brief, respectful conversations between participants. While the event aims to create opportunities for connection, no guarantees are made regarding matches, relationships, or outcomes.

2. Eligibility

This event is open to single adults within the advertised age range for each event.

By attending, you confirm that you are legally single and eligible to participate.

You agree to provide accurate personal information during registration.

The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or remove participants who do not meet eligibility requirements or breach these Terms.

3. Tickets & Payments

Tickets must be purchased in advance unless otherwise stated.

All prices are listed in AUD and include GST (if applicable).

Your ticket is valid only for the specific event date and time.

4. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Tickets are non-refundable if you change your mind or fail to attend.

If the event is cancelled by the organiser, you will receive:

A full refund or the option to transfer your ticket to a future event.

If the event is rescheduled, your ticket will automatically transfer to the new date unless you request a refund within the stated timeframe.

5. Transfers

Tickets may be transferred to another eligible person with prior approval from the organiser.

Transfer requests must be made at least 48 hours before the event.

6. Event Format & Matching

Participants will rotate through a series of short, timed conversations.

At the end of the event, participants privately indicate YES / MAYBE / NO for each connection.

Only mutual YES selections will result in a match.

MAYBE selections are private and will not be shared.

Matches will be shared via email within 24 hours after the event.

7. Privacy & Data Protection

Personal information is collected solely for event administration and matching purposes.

Contact details are only shared with another participant in the case of a mutual YES match.

Your information will not be sold, shared, or used for marketing without your consent.

You may request deletion of your data after the event.

8. Code of Conduct

All participants agree to:

Be respectful, courteous, and inclusive

Honour personal boundaries and consent

Refrain from harassment, inappropriate behaviour, or offensive language
Accept rejection gracefully and respectfully
The organiser reserves the right to remove any participant without refund if their behaviour is deemed inappropriate or disruptive.

9. Alcohol & Venue Rules

Alcohol consumption is optional and subject to the venue’s policies.

Participants are responsible for their own behaviour and consumption.

The organiser is not responsible for actions taken under the influence of alcohol.

10. Health & Safety

Participants attend at their own risk.

The organiser is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property.

You agree to follow all venue rules and any instructions provided during the event.

11. Photography & Media

Photos or videos may be taken during the event for promotional purposes.

If you do not wish to appear in media, please notify the organiser on arrival.

No unauthorised recording of other participants is permitted.

12. Force Majeure

The organiser is not liable for cancellations or changes due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, venue issues, or government restrictions.

13. Limitation of Liability

The organiser makes no guarantees regarding romantic outcomes, compatibility, or future interactions between participants.
Participation is voluntary, and attendees assume responsibility for their own decisions and interactions

14. Agreement

By purchasing a ticket and attending the event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
