FAQ

SPEED DATING

💬 “I’d be too nervous / awkward”

Totally normal — most people feel that way at first.
The format actually helps because the conversations are short, guided, and no one has to carry the whole interaction. Once you’re in it, it’s surprisingly easy.

💬 “I’ve never done speed dating before”

Most people coming haven’t either.
That’s what makes it fun — everyone’s on the same level and there’s no pressure to perform or impress.

💬 “What if I don’t match with anyone?”

That’s okay too. There’s no obligation or awkward follow-ups.
Many people come just to meet new humans, practice conversation, and enjoy the night. Matches are a bonus, not the goal.

💬 “What age group is it for?”

It’s aimed for a similar age group (check the event information), but the focus is more on mindset and stage of life than a strict number. If you’re open, curious, and single — you’ll fit right in.

💬 “Is it awkward sitting with strangers?”

Honestly, it’s less awkward than open mingling.
You always know where to sit, what’s happening next, and when it’s time to move — no standing around wondering what to do.

💬 “What if I say yes and they don’t?”

Matches are only shared when it’s a mutual yes, so there’s no rejection or uncomfortable moments. Everything stays private.

💬 “Can I come on my own?”

Absolutely — most people do.
You don’t need a wingman for this, just a willingness to show up.

💬 “Is it serious or casual?”

It’s light, fun, and respectful.
Some people are open to dating, some to connection — there’s room for both.

💬 “Is there drinking involved?”

Drinks are available through the venue, but there’s no expectation to drink. You’re welcome to enjoy the night however feels right for you.

💬 “I live nearby but not in in the specific town — can I still come?”

Of course. Plenty of people are happy to meet someone a short drive away. Local-ish still counts
